Gay "pretty boys", under what circumstances would you fall for a girl?

So a good friend of mine is in a bit of a dilemma. She loves her men, but she loves her men fashion-conscious and effeminate with perfectly styled hair. The problem with this is that 9 times out of 10 they turn out to be gay which frustrates her because she won't ever be able to hit it.
